The ghost of a beautiful woman wearing a red dress is said to wander the halls of this hotel resort. An employee saw her vanish before his eyes back in 1959 as he was escorting her to her room. There are different stories as to who she might be. Some say she is the spirit of a lady who was murdered in a tower room; others say she is Madame Pele – the Huna volcano goddess who is said to reside in the Kilauea Crater of the Mauna Loa Volcano. This hotel is located at 2005 Kalia Rd in Honolulu.
